Crusader Shield weekend a great success
The weather was perfect for the Crusader Shield Waterpolo tournament held here at Falcon College.  Six schools participated:  St Johns, Prince Edward, CBC, St. Georges, Peterhouse and Falcon.  Acute fuel shortages did not appear to be a deterrent as many parents came to watch the event as well as cricket matches against Peterhouse.  The weekend was a great success.

Forbes Douse, Captain of the Falcon side, assisted by the Headmaster proudly holding the Crusader Shield. Falcon College scored the same points as second running St Georges, but won on a superior goal difference. Forbes Douse and Grant Beahan were selected for the Zimbabwe Development side to play in the South African Interprovincials in December this year.

Tennis News
Intensive preparations are currently underway for the crucial U14 and U15 encounters on 26th October. The teams will be battling the respected sides, St John's and Prince Edward.

Falcon teams rarely get much competition from schools in the southern region of the country and this encounter will be a litmus test for our teams.
