Falcon at the Clifton Expo , Francistown
On the 9th February, the Headmaster Reg Querl and Martha Querl, Peter and Jacqui Stewarts represented the College at the 2006 Clifton Expo in  Francistown, Botswana. two Zimbabwean, fifteen South African and two Botswana exhibitors were present to showcase their colleges, handout prospectuses, discuss their curricula and answer numerous questions posed by prospective parents and their children.FalconStandBots.jpg (52248 bytes)

It was a most worthwhile exercise and one which will hopefully bear fruit if we can address and overcome the problems experienced with expensive and frustratingly long border crossing.
In the thumbnail Martha shows a prospective parent pictures and charts depicting life at the College.

New Computer Room to be built
Work is to start soon on the new Quiet Room following a grant from the Beit Trust. The Computer Room will be attached to the Dugmore Memorial Library.  The new Computer is room is to be truly a Falcon innovation.  The unique architectural plans were designed and drawn by Alistair Gibson, a former Design and Technical Graphics student at Falcon. We will give you more details on this in a later issue.

The Chalets at Quiet Waters have become very popular and are frequently fully booked whenever there is a function at the College.
