15th Cultural Weekend -
Another Great Success
This year, the annual Cultural Weekend brought together
well over 100 students from 17 schools.
Falcon became a hive of activity as 6 workshops were hastily conducted.
The workshops culminated in a concert on the last day of the weekend.
The weekend was a huge success.

New chalet
for Quiet Waters
A new chalet is being built at Quiet Waters.
The chalet is being constructed with granite blocks from the quarry on
Quiet Waters, and will be called Mbondo Chalet.

Edward, one of the builders, with his handiwork.
The floor slab is being cast and building of the walls will commence
shortly.
There is always a huge demand for accommodation at Quiet Waters whenever
there is a function at the College. This additional chalet will
certainly help ease this huge demand.
Roofing Woodwork Starts At The Gymnasium Site
Despite sporadic shortages of bricks from the suppliers
construction work at the High performance Gymnasium Site has continued
steadily and the brickwork is but over. Work has started on the
roof woodwork. The roof trusses are now in place over the front
facade to the gymnasium.
.Right:
The woodwork over the front facade is nearly complete.
The front facade to the gymnasium looks strikingly similar to the facade
at the entrance to the Turner Hall. This was not by coincidence,
but by deliberate design.

The latest view of the gymnasium. The brickwork is virtually
done and work on the roofing has started.
