Gary Teichmann - Our Special Guest

Falcon College is to be honoured by Special Guest, Gary Teichmann, former Captain of the South African National Rugby team, the Springboks..

Gary is expected to arrive at Falcon College on Friday 26 May.  He will be  guest spectator in the Junior Rugby matches to be played in the afternoon. In the evening he will address boys and parents outside Oates house.  On Saturday, he will be the guest at the continuing Junior Rugby matgaryTeichmanInaction.jpg (22483 bytes)ches and he will witness the match between Falcon First XV against Churchill.

In the evening he will be guest of honour at the fund-raising dinner.in the Todd Hall. 

Junior Rugby Festival 26th  and 27th May 2006
Event promises to be huge and exciting

A large number of visitors is expected at Falcon for the Junior Rugby Festival on 26th and 27th May.  Quiet Waters lodges are  fully booked and some visitors will be accommodated at staff houses while some will camp at the Bryce Hendrie swimming pool.  Altogether, 8 primary schools are expected to participate in the Junior Rugby Festival.  No doubt, the presence of our special guest Gary Teichmann will go a long way towards inspiring our youths.

Programme:
Friday 26th 2 p.m.   
2 p.m.    Junior Rugby festival begins
3 p.m.    Gary Teichmann arrives            
7 p.m.    Informal Supper at Bushtick
              Gary Teichmann address to the Boys
               Video for the vising Junior Rugby Teams

Saturday 27th May
8 a.m.     Junior School Rugby matches continue
12 noon  End of Junior Rugby Festival, Lunch
1 p.m.     Rugby matches versus Churchill
4 p.m.     Rugby First XV versus Churchill
7 p.m.     Formal Dinner in honour of Gary Teichmann, Todd Hall
               Address by Gary Teichmann

Oates Housemasters Meet - Small world!

During the April holidays Richard Harrison, housemaster of Oates met David Hunt a former teacher of Falcon College who was also housemaster of Oates from 1963 to 1971 at Cautley Spout, Sedbergh in the United Kingdom

Sports Results
