Carlisle School get a donation of books
Carlisle had a very generous donation of books from Elvin Parker and the Char-Char Trust which he started in memory of his wife and daughter who were both killed by an Elephant in Hwange National Park.

Recieving the books on behalf of Carlisle School is Miss Ndlovu and one of her pupils.

It was an impressive sight that greeted the new parents as they arrived to collect their Form One boys for the first Fixture Free Week. The school fleet had been lined up for some photographs for the new prospectus.

The Bushtick mine plug hole
The Bushtick mine, which supplies the College with all its water, is filled from various plug holes around the area. One of these holes is below the mine dumps in the riverline below Longdens dam and the Mbonisa weir.

The plug hole after the recent heavy rains
The mine is currently at 100% full and should hold enough water for the school for the next 5-8 years depending on the daily usage.
