Junior Cricket Festival - 8 Schools participated
The second Annual Junior Cricket festival at Falcon
brought together eight schools. The festival was held on the 23rd and
24th February. 96 youngsters from the eight schools participated
in the event. The effects of the tropical cyclone Favio which
brought flooding in Mozambique were not felt here until the Monday after
the festival.

It was not all about cricket. Junior Cricketrs vsited the Snake
Club where Mr. Graham Armstrong showed them how dangerous snakes are
handled
and
the boys had a chance to prove their prowess at a fun tug-of-war

Interhouse Athletics Relay
Meeting
The weather was hot and the skies were clear for this
year's Interhouse Athletics relay meeting which was held on 3 March.

Umzingwane District Inter-Schools Athletics Meeting
12 falcon boys qualified for the Zonal Team On Friday
9th March five schools in Umzingwane District (Umzingwane, Falcon,
Mvutu, Mawabeni and Esikhoveni) converged at Umzingwane High School for
the District Inter-Schools Athletics Meeting. Falcon College won
the meeting ahead of Mvutu Secondary School of Esigodini. .

Falcon boys had to compete under unusual conditions. A Falcon boy
takes the lead in an essentially bare track, very different from the
well-maintained tracks at Falcon College.
