Overcast skies and moist conditions suited the Falcon College Golf team this Sunday, when they faced a pair's matchplay challenge against the Bulawayo Country Club. This youthful and energetic group of young men equipped themselves admirably, winning the encounter 3-1 against an experienced Country Club side.

The hosts provided a course in excellent condition for the encounter. The Club Captain, Mr. Dean Peters, welcomed the opportunity to promote the club's policy of developing the sport within the youth of Bulawayo.

The day was generously sponsored by E-Bikes of Bulawayo. MD Francis Mangwandeza jumped at the chance to expose his 'Green' transport option to the teens and their parents.

Falcon Golf Master, Mr Gatsemane Katsande, felt that the initiative of competing against the local Golf Clubs was a move in the right direction for his squad, citing it as unparalleled elsewhere in Zimbabwe.
