National Anglers Union of Zimbabwe Fishing Clinic - Falcon College |
On Sunday 1st August thirty members of the Falcon Angling Society were treated to a Fishing Clinic conducted by a team from the National Anglers Union of Zimbabwe (Matabeleland Branch). The speakers were Messrs Tom Oxden-Willows, Cliffy Daines, Vic Ireland and Mike Querl all national Zimbabwe anglers in their own right. The venue was Mbonisa Weir in Quiet Waters and topics ranged from the tying of fishing knots, catching bream, bass fishing and carp fishing. The session ended with a demonstration on how to remove a hook embedded in a finger or some other limb.

The clinic proved to be both worthwhile and enjoyable and the Falcon Angling Society are grateful to the members of NAUZ(Mat) for their commitment to promoting Junior Angling in Zimbabwe and in particular for giving up their time to come out to Falcon.
