Impressions of Falcon in 2004

The 100th meeting of the Founders Toastmasters...· The Toastmasters, founded by Sue Wigham in 1996, held its Hundredth meeting in the College’s Fiftieth Year! The event was celebrated with a special dinner by candlelight in the school dining hall. Several Falcon staff and girls from the Girls’ College and Bulawayo Convent Toastmistress Clubs were invited as guests. The special guest speaker, Mlungisi Velempini, had been the Founder President of the Club, and the entertaining and thought-provoking speech he gave was evidence that he had indeed mastered the art of public speaking. Another special guest, also a founder member of Toastmasters, was Mbonisi Malaba, accompanied by his new wife.
