From rugged beginnings Falcon developed a tradition of discipline and teamwork. Individual responsibility and leadership was fostered and encouraged. Academic traditions come from English public schools but adapted to the changing demographics and demands of contemporary Zimbabwean Society.

Our vision is to create a balanced multiracial society for a broad cross-section of National and International students. Falcon offers leadership, discipline, first class education and the opportunity for every boy to develop to the best of his potential. The College endeavours to instil strong moral, ethical, Christian values via a broad range of activities – academic, sporting and cultural - with a bias towards the outdoors.

The Falcon species is known for having pretty good eyesight. We like to think we emulate this in our outlook and approach to the future. Find out more in the links below:

The School Motto : Sic itur ad astra

The school motto comes from the words of Publius Vergilius Marote (70-19BC) a classical Roman poet who wrote: “nova virtute, puer; sic itur ad astra” which translates: Look to your new-found courage, young man, for that is the way to the stars.

The College runs on a hierarchical system – which we are sure leads to well rounded young men, who have respect for the system while maintaining originality and individualism. Loyalty to the College and to each other continues to be a strong bond wherever these young men end up.
