Headmaster's newletter, third term, week eight |
I hope that you had a good weekend with your sons. I would like to thank all the people who wrote to me about Speech Day and the opening of the Computer Centre. The day went off well and my special thanks to all that made it happen. There are photographs posted on our web site from that occasion.
Our boys have been busy over the weekend - the U16 cricket team without our national trialists, played in a tournament at John Mackenzie in Botswana which they won.
Several boys have been selected from the national cricket trials to
represent Zimbabwe.

INTER HOUSE FISHING COMPETITION
The second leg of the Inter House Fishing Competition was recently
held at Inyankuni Dam. Results were as follows:

Final placings for 2009 are:

George Grey therefore retain the "Adam Bryan" Inter House
Fishing trophy for 2009.
The Strydom Memorial Trophy for Angling is presented each year to
the most improved fisherman.
This year's winner is G Strydom (of George Grey) who was included
in the team selected to represent Zimbabwe in the Junior Bank Fishing
Competition held at the end of last term.

Gala on Saturday 31st October at 9.00 am.
Leavers' Dinner Saturday 31st October 6.30 pm, parents of U6 boys
are invited to attend this dinner. If you have not yet replied to
