Headmaster's newsletter, week five of first term 2010

We were once again very privileged to have had wonderful guests to the College to help us in the education of your sons. Mr. Larry Norton, the internationally acclaimed artist, spent the weekend with us. On Friday, he was in the Art Department with our students, and we thank him most sincerely. He has also donated sets of his prints for our Independent Schools' Rugby festival in the middle of the year.

Mr. Malcolm Wharton, the Principal of Hartpury College in Gloucester, was here giving boys an insight into what his institution has to offer. They have a great interest in sportsmen and there are opportunities for our young men in that area.

Quest Africa, our post 'A' level (gap year) course, started this week with 14 young men. This is a very exciting development which will enhance our institution and provide many opportunities for both the College and Quest.
