Headmaster's newsletter, first week of second term

Firstly, thank you to all who supported our boys in the holidays at our various sporting ventures, both in Harare and in South Africa. As always, our boys did us proud on and off the field. I am quite sure that all the boys involved would have gained a great deal from the experience.

Sadly, we have had a boy withdrawn from the College because of unpleasantness from some senior boys. I want to spell it out again that I will not tolerate bullying of any kind. I will continue to investigate this incident for as long as it takes to get to the bottom of it. If found guilty, the boys will not be allowed to remain at the College.

We have had rather too many boys not returning to school at the correct time and I once again appeal to parents to make sure that they get boys back to school on time. They do miss out on such a lot if they return late.

Please could I appeal to all driving to and from the College to please observe the speed limit of 60 km per hour. It really is an extremely dangerous road.
